Root Samsug Galaxy Tab WIFI

Hi All,

I searched google and the forums on a few sites but I couldn't seem to find what I need.

I have a rooted EVO and Xoom, of which I was able to find information on pretty easily. However, I just picked myself up a WIFI Tab and I can't seem to find any information on rooting it.

I have seen that some people have good fortunes with Z4Root or OneClick, but most people are using the carrier version of the tab. I can't seem to find anything specific for the WIFI version.

Has anyone here successfully rooted the WIFI version if you did, what were the steps you took. I also would need steps for installing clockworkmod for nandroid backups as well.

Any help really appreciated.

Will the method of rooting carrier gtabs not work? I rooted my sprint gtab with z4. Arent the tabs the same, just the exception of the radio being taken out?

I'll give that a try. Do you know if the latest version is the one on XDA-Developers?

The version I have which I believe to be the most up-to-date is 1.3.1.
