ROOT Samsung galaxy s5 PLEASE HELP

i recently switched from ar&t to verizon and of course upgraded my. Rooted s4 too an s5 not knowing i wouldn't be able to root thru verizon. Does anyone have suggestion i hates how slow my phone is. Also i hates the new configuration out the screen buttons.
