roote kindle fire hd but es file explorer saying its not???

hey all this is my first post i rooted my kindle ages ago cant even remeber how really i would like to unroot and reroot with and updated android if i can but when i go into es file explorer and go to root explorer its saystest failed cannot run on this device ?? so know im confused any help in explaining this would be great

ok no answers so i updated my kindle which is suppose to remove the root yes ? well it didnt all my google play and all my other apps still works except i lost my wallpaper which has pissed me right off any help for that ???
