so yesterday I rooted my s5 verizon 4.4.4 kit kat NI2 build

here's how i did it:
- I was on rooted NE9, so I flashed back to the NHA build using Odin
- Took the OTA update to NI2
- Flashed the NCG Stock Kernel Using ODIN
- Rooted using TowelRoot
- Flashed the NI2 Stock Kernel

now, i keep getting "unfortunately, context service has stopped" error.

does anyone have any idea what's going on or how to fix this? this error is showing constantly and it's incredibly annoying.

Same problem. Also getting a similar error with the health service. I'm scrambling to go back to stock firmware now. =\

Edit: Flashed back to stock (G900V_NHA_Stock_Kernel.tar.md5) and the problem is gone. As a side note, Kies wouldn't recognize the phone while it was running the custom ROM (G900V_NCG_Stock_Kernel.tar.md5), but it came up right away once I put the original back in there.

Have you tried deleting or renaming the ContextService.apk file? I renamed it on my device so it wouldn't run and that seemed to work. It's under /system/priv-app, I think.

Remaning the file did it for me, thank you. I'm working with a new phone, and every time I would try to access picture on my SD Card it would give me this message. Now with this file (contextprovider.apk) renamed pictures are working fine.
