I believe I have succeeded in rooting my phone. According to Root checker, I have. But something does not feel right. I have looked through my phone and I see that I have 2 maybe 3 superuser files and I do not know which one(s) to get rid of and keep. Upon successful completion of my rooting, I had to instal the SU on my sd card and flashed it that way. But it was NOT the Superuser 3.0.7 efghi that was mentioned in the attached post to OneClickRooting.
What I am asking is, Do I need 2 super user apps?? And should I start over from scratch?? If I was to send you a screen shot of my files on my phone, could you assist me? I am sure that more info is needed and I am available to answer
Thank you for your help.
Edit... I have installed RomTool Kit lite (jrummy)v(I'm broke as a joke right now) and its continually FC'ing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times. I tried the AOSP oICS and got thrown into a boot-loop. I KNOW I have screwed up somewhere. Any direction?
I have a Samsung Google Nexus S 4G (crespo4g,Sprint Nexus S) CWMR 5.0.2.0 could not get TWRP to stay or stick.
