Okay, how does one go about rooting the HTC One M9 so I can use stock android. I'll give Sense a try, but I'm probably gonna want stock android because that's just how I am.

Also, what are some good case recommendations.

Pink, would be nice, oh and a Glass Screen Protector.

I won the Bell one from a Mobile Syrup contest.

Oh and wheres the best palce to unlock it.

amFilm glass screen protector is awesome and comes with everything necessary to properly clean your phone and install it perfectly.

shopandroid.com has a deal today on the Clear Shield made by HTC. It's a clear back with pink accents on the sides. I haven't bought a glass screen protector yet, but I'm always partial to Spigen glas.tr protectors.

Bell is a Canadian carrier, right?

Do you think the ATT one is the same as the Bell one?

You could unlink the bootloader yourself at htcdev.com, flash a custom recovery from the m9 forums ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-t3066720)(also download the SUPERSU linked in that very same thread) and then you reboot to recovery and flash the supersu in twrp and boom, you're rooted. Or you could pay $25 for sunshine and it'll do everything except flash custom recovery twrp.

From my fingers to you on the M8, M9 or the Chromebook! :D

It seems all of these ROM's are geared toward US Carriers. I am on a Canadian Carrier (Telus) as well and makes me nervous not explicitly knowing whether I will have issues.

If yours is a GSM variant then you shouldn't have any problems. Not sure about Canadian carriers. I'm on AT&T (with an AT&T variant) and I have no problems with flashing any ROMs. No matter what firmware is based off because it's a GSM variant. I fully converted to a Dev Edition so I could have OTA updates straight from HTC.

^^^Just make xda your best friend.
(Should also work with T-Mobile since the M9 is a tri-band device.)

That gets you non carrier branded, but it still has Sense, so still not stock. Not a knock on Sense because I do like Sense, but I would prefer to be stock Android like the Nexus line. I would have gotten the Nexus 6, but the screen is much bigger than I like. I also considered the Moto X, but found that one to be too low end. However, I am really liking Sense now with all the customization abilities that have been added since I last used it. It is not just a skin anymore.
