Rooting Issue

Okay so i started rooting my phone and i get to the NAND Start writing and then it fails. I think the issue is i forgot to check the USB debugging but now i am stuck at the issue with firmware, use samsung kies to recover.
however kies wont recognize my phone and i can still go into download mode but it wont let me root it since the usb debug isnt checked so im sort of stuck and was wondering if there was a way out of it

Are you sure you used the proper odin file for you device and carrier. Have you tried rebooting your computer deviceand tried using a different usb port?

tried rebooting device, comes back to the same screen. ive tried rebooting the computer did nothing. ive probably also tried a number of different approaches to getting it to work none of worked.

so my biggest issues is im stuck at the screen with the yellow triangle saying 'firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please connect......'

in most forums that i read the people with similar issues solved their problem by going on with the root and getting it to work, but i dont think mine will work since the usb debugging isnt checked off. I just want to get to stock or where i was before trying to root so that i can check the usb debugging and successfully root my device

bump, anyone have any info relating to this? my phone is currently an expensive paper weight i would rather like to resume using it asap

When Odin is open and you are plugged in does the box in upper left hand corner light up either blue or yellow?

Did you try rebooting into Recovery and performing a factory reset?

it does and it says either com3 or com4

how do you do that, i wouldnt mind factory reset as long as i get my phone working again. It tells me to do a recovery with S.Kies but my phone never connects or anything
and unfortunately i was dumb and did this all without backing anything up

Did you try rebooting into Recovery and performing a factory reset?

Edit: so i looked it up the hold volume up blah blah blah, and it didnt work tried a number of times and it just keeps bringing me back to the same old screen.

Then the fact you didn't check off debugging is a moot point because odin sees the device. . ....You could be using the wrong or corrupt file to flash. ... or you have a bad connection. the cable or port need to be changed.

Try using a different computer.
