I want to root my G900T S5.
I'm just a newbie, and don't know anything bout samsung knox. Tried google-ing, still didn't get it. So can you guys please help me.
I found out how to root my G900T with CF Auto root.
But now I want to know what will tripping the knox counter do? I am not planning to flash custom roms etc, and voiding the warranty doesn't matter anyway. Just want to root it, so I can replace the samsung emojis with the iOS ones.
But will I be able to upgrade my software over the air after rooting? For example when the s5 gets lollipop, will I be able to upgrade? (Does knox has sth to do with it). I've also read that rooted devices have problems with ota upgrades, but is there an easy work around? Thanks

When you root you will lose the ability to update OTA. The status of the device changes, and most rooting procedures may require a custom recovery, which is something else the OTA may look for.
