Saw this over at RootzWiki. Haven't tried it yet, but will soon since the 6.2.1 update broke root on my Kindle Fire.
Edit: Changed link to the RootzWiki thread started by the developer. Also, added link to second thread below that has instructions on installing ADB and the Kindle Fire drivers, as well as getting Google Apps working. Finally, got a chance to re-root my Kindle and all is now well again.
