No, but like the previous poster said, it is too heavy.Do you worry about the protectiveness of the Samsung rugged case?

I find it very heavy in the hand while on the Note 9 and rather bulky.Just got this case from best buy and here are my first impressions:
-this case is really well-built, slides on (relatively) easily and fits very snuggly
-I love the kickstand and can see myself using it
As to weight, it weighs approximately 57g. this compares to the Caseology cases I bought on sale:
Parallax 38g
Skyfall 31g
Legion 45g
Basically the Samsung case is about an ounce more than the other cases i have. Also, it was nice to find a use for my kitchen scale.
Overall I am very happy with the case but now find myself trying to figure if I can actually feel the ounce difference in the case.
Enjoy the Rugged Armor. It's my favorite and I've had it on my last 3-4 phones. Has taken a beating and surviving many big drops it makes it a go to case for my phones.I find it very heavy in the hand while on the Note 9 and rather bulky.
I received the Spigen Rugged Armor case today. Very thin and light TPU. Much better than the Samsung Rugged case and the Speck Presidio Grip case.
Good to know. Yes, having a light case is entirely changing my experience w the Note 9.Enjoy the Rugged Armor. It's my favorite and I've had it on my last 3-4 phones. Has taken a beating and surviving many big drops it makes it a go to case for my phones.
That's funny, mine didn't work well laying flat on that wireless charger but worked well in the upright position... Funny how things work differently on the same equipment.I bought the Samsung rugged one today too. Unfortunately, it does not work well w the Samsung Convertible charger while standing up vertically.
Are you still primarily using the Rugged Armor? I am. The Samsung one is just too damn heavy.Makes it really heavy. I like the look hate the weight. That's why I'm rocking the Spigen rugged armor most of the time
Primary is the rugged armor. However I'm wearing the Samsung case today just to change it up. It's heavy lol.Are you still primarily using the Rugged Armor? I am. The Samsung one is just too damn heavy.
Yeah, I know. I can't stand it compared to the lightness of the Spigen ones. Are you going to buy any others? Any others from Spigen too?Primary is the rugged armor. However I'm wearing the Samsung case today just to change it up. It's heavy lol.
The Samsung rugged case is very heavy.Do you guys feel there is a big difference in protection between the two - i.e. Is the extra weight of the Samsung case worth it?
I'm still on a note 8 and use the spigen tough armor and I was put of the Samsung protective case for that becuase of the size. If I get the note 9 I would either get the tough armor, the Samsung protective case or try the rugged armour but not sure if it quite matches in the protection stakes
Cute, but try the rugged case and then take it off and feel how much damn heavier it makes the device. It is unfortunate bc I like the case. For those of you commenting on how heavy these cases make the phone, I have a solution for you:

LOL, just messing with you
Much heavier than a TPU one. It really makes the device feel like a brick.how heavy is the Samsung case? has anyone actually put it on the kitchen scales?

The defender for the Note 9 is bulky and heavy.
The Defender is a great case for this phone. It makes it a lot easier to grip and use the spen because it makes the phone wider. The rugged case is harder for me to type as fast and grip because the phone is still pretty narrow in it.
Defender is probably the best case out there right now for this phone.
