Rumor: V20 to be released on October 21st in US

It's hardly a gimmick. I can use the flashlight, control the music I'm listening to, access the camera, among other things all while the main display is off. I can't do that with the AoD on Samsung phones.

Is there an ignore feature here?

Removable battery, IR, a 2nd screen that is way more useful than the edge screen and it also will be running Nougat probably 6-10 months before any Samsung device gets an update for it.

If the display looks like the V10, ignorance is bliss until comparing to the MXPE's LCD display. Wild how a display company puts sub par displays on their phones.

Unfortunately I couldn't wait. Needed a new phone to replace my bricked G4 and aging G3 already. Got an ... iPhone 7+ *covers face in disgrace*

I think it's pretty obvious you don't like LG and you don't like their displays and that's fine but for some of us here there are other features LG offers that are more appealing than just the type of display tech they use.

I'm gonna miss all the tapping and knocking on the screen :(

Why? It's like saying you want 720i
Compared to the Note 7, I still prefer my G4 display. I doubt the V20 could be any worse. That said, I will give AMOLED displays credit in that they are getting better in my eyes. I still prefer the color tones of LCD, but I would deam the Note 7 acceptable (disregarding the ugly curved edges, that is).

I hate the curved edges too but much prefer the brighter colors of amoled. It's all in the eye of the beholder of course.

You ol' devil you.lol Well the iPhone 7+ certainly looks to be a worthy device. Good luck with iOS. Just too boring for me. I like that you can always change Android via launchers. But at least you'll get to enjoy all day battery life.

Top gray bar of a post, where the date/time of the post is on the left side, on the right side is the post number and a small triangle with a ! in it. Touch that.

I don't mind the look.... Just couldn't accept the fragility and the touchy accidental quirkiness of the S7 E.... even Sammy realized they needed it to tone it down and make the edge cleaner on the Note 7. Still fragile though.

I wasn't even thinking about fragility, though I wouldn't like a glass body either. It's just every time I look at the S/N7's and the edge displays, I'm reminded of an old style t.v. with a tube going bad and making the image roll back on itself.

Maybe that's where Sammy got the idea? Lol
