Rumored Specs

I've heard different camera info but I don't know how credible the source is so I'd rather just wait until next week.

Everything else looks like much of what we've been hearing. I also read somewhere about an FM radio but don't remember where exactly.

Apollo did u see he got this forum up in like record time?!? Nice!

Also, from what I've read, the flash may be dual LED (showing presumably one) and consensus seems to be AMOLED (doesent specifiy in there, but neither does it deny it).

what OS is this running? Is it windows or stock android? Also, could this possibly be used on verizon?

Does anyone know if the Supersonic has a compass? I recall it being mentioned somewhere but I don't see it mentioned in any of the leaked specs.

From what I've read it has a built in GPS but is that what you mean by compass?

I believe all Android phones have a sensor that acts as a compass. Not a magnetic compass, but a digital sensor that can read true north. In any case, a phone that can give turn by turn directions will have a compass sensor.

gbhil, are you getting this device? I know you're a huge fan of the Hero, but I wasn't sure if you were ready to move on yet...

Compass, not GPS

The droid has a digital compass, not to be confused with a GPS receiver. A friend at work has a cool app on his droid that shows star constellations when you hold the phone up and it uses the internal compass; it's really cool.

I used pdadb.net to get some information for the Pre back in the day and it seems to be pretty accurate. Too bad it doesn't have all of the info for the cellular networks (no 4G radio in there).

What I'd like to know is will this phone have a GSM twin model, like the Motorola Droid/Milestone, the Sprint/GSM Hero, etc... or will it be Sprint - CDMA exclusive? Here in Hungary we only have GSM. And no 4G yet sadly...

i'd love the noice cancelling feature that nexus has.

Its nice and functional. If you don't mind BT headsets, I picked up a Samsung WEP870 on newegg.com for $18 that has that feature. Overall, I really like it. Its kinda on the quieter side, but my gf borrowed it last night and said it was loud... so that could have been my phone. Overall, all the calls are clear, and it comes with an adapter for stereo (both ears) that I don't use cause it falls out of my ears that aren't shaped normally to begin with. Kinda cool/ could be annoying is that Google Maps navigation speaks out the directions through the headset.
