Running Poorly

So for the last few days my S7 active has been running poorly. Freezing up, extremely slow, poor battery, etc.
Anybody else experiencing this?
I refuse to do a factory reset. I have personalized and saved so much.
I have cleaned cache and restarted several times.
I do notice my signal has been horrible. Specifically where I work.
Could a bad signal cause the phone to be running to poorly?
Also location services keep turning on.

Poor signals shouldn't cause the phone to run poorly. I think you are left with only one alternative; the reset.

Part of the problem may be continually clearing the cache. That means it has to re-save all that stuff.

I should amend my post that the poor battery life may be partially due to a bad signal. But the freezing, and running slow won't be. I still stand by my suggestion of a reset.

@Aquila may be right, but it would also depend on how often the cache is cleared.

It's quite difficult to know for sure what's causing those problems, but you could try a couple of things.

If you're using an SD card unmount it temporarily and see what happens.

See in your battery stats which apps/processes are using a higher percentage. Maybe there's an app running wild in the background.


I agree with Aquila and Golfdriver97, clearing cache frequently won't help at all and a very bad signal is a sure cause for a battery drain.
