Believe it or not, that is what your supposed to see if your completely stock. There is no menu for you to access.

Nope, need a custom recovery for that... from reading this thread (and your other ones) you want root functions, without having root permissions or S-off. Sounds like you just need to root, add recovery then leave the Stock HTC ROM... just saying.

hope you can help me i am wanting to take my evo shift back to stock. all the links i find to download the stock ruu will not load. does anyone have a current link?

If your planning on taking it to Sprint, i would suggest taking the updates, they might be abit suspicious if you're still running froyo.

ok i need help. i had my evo shift flashed from sprint to cricket but the guy that did it apparently didnt know what he was doing. now i can use cdma workshop to pull it up and unlock it but when i go to use qpst 3.2.3 on it a message box pops up saying online connection failure: unspecified error. any ideas on how to fix this problem might help.
