Just read the above article ... not sure why they'd be dropping calorie and weight tracking from a HEALTH AND FITNESS tracking app!!! I made the switch from Fitbit to Samsung with the Active Watch 2, but this move will have me going back to Fitbit real soon.

I doubt it, but are there any other fitness & health tracking apps that can be utilized with this watch in lieu of S Health?

This has got to be the worst news possible (sorta). Tracking my weight loss has been a great motivator for me. Not sure why they are taking it out. Morons.

I think getting rid of these features is stupid. I track my weight as well. Maybe the withings app may work even if you don't have smart scales. I do have smart scales but you can manually log your weight loss.

Looks like this app would sync with A Health, not be a replacement for it where the Active 2 can sync directly with it.

Kinda wondering how this is going to play out ... with no calorie info in S Health, I wonder how will that relate to recorded exercises? Will the exercise then show no calories burned??

Is there any other weight tracking app out there that I can import my data from Samsung Health into? I exported a CSV file, but I don't want to try half a dozen apps (if someone already has the answer!)
