Or a small clip that I'm sure some company will offer. Or if the pen stays charged for days, it may not be important to charge it while carrying the phone around.

My husband sold his Galaxy S3 tab to this Kiosk stand at the mall over 6 months ago or longer cause we got new HP Chromebooks. I had an sold my Samsung Chromebook to a co-worker and mine had a slot for the pen which I had to sell with it. But my husbands they didn't ask for the pen and I found it when looking for something in this purse the other night. Will it work on our phone since it's so old and from the S3 Tab? Just wondering since I won't get my pen till the 16th and his case with pen will be here like the 2nd I think.

I believe any EMR enabled s-pen should work with the Ultra. Including the pens from wacom drawing tablets. They all use a wacom digitiser in the screen.

Thanks, can you point me to an example? The reviews I saw either skipped the S Pen or else demonstrated the official new one. I couldn't find a video that showed anyone using an older S Pen.

Also Samsung at the unpacked event literally said it's compatible with all S-pens from all devices. Bit of a giveaway, that.

Are you sure? At 56:50 in the Unpacked video, they say the S21 Ultra's S Pen Pro, when it comes out later this year, will work across all Galaxy S Pen devices. But I didn't see any statement that S Pens from other devices will work with the S21 Ultra. If you saw that, can you point to where?

Every spen I have had works on any capable wacom Samsung device I've had. That's just about every Note and the Tab S4-S7. The pens have all worked no problem.

I am. I've also seen Flossy Carter pull the s-pen out of a Note 20 and use it on the S21 ultra.

I tried with my Note 20 Ultra pen, Tab S6 and S7 pen on the S21 Ultra demo and all 3 worked. Even gave the pen commands in the corner like the notes does. Here's a pic of me testing out the live messages with the Tab S7 s pen

Hmm, I'm curious if it's fine to just pick up an older note s-pen off Amazon or if having the new one gives any real extra benefit ?

If I bought one I have the s-pen from a Note 2 I would try. I have tried that pen with a wacom tablet and it worked and the wacom bamboo pen worked on the Note 2. So I think it goes all the way back as well.

Hmm reading most of the older note pens need a note to charge. sooooo how's that gonna work with the Ultra?
