S Pen Issues

Hello all,

I am new here, so is most people I guess. I just switched to AT&T from Sprint and had all HTC devices for the last 7+yrs. Now have the Note 2 and the S3, soon getting the Note 10.1. Well anyway I have looked for answers and watched several YouTube videos and nothing. When I use my S Pen to write something or have someone sign for something the pen starts marking the screen even before the pen touches the screen. I have reset the phone, turned off the hover function, clicked and unclicked the battery saver and everything stays the same. Does anyone have any ideas?

Faulty pen. I read that you can take it to your carrier and have it replace for free as long as it is still under warranty
