s.pen translate feature dissapointed

Just realised it only works for a few languages. I'm in Thailand so no Thai language very dissapointed.

It's a total disgrace, especially as it uses Google Translate which has English<>Thai. I bought this phone in Thailand too. Shocking.

Bixby voice wake-up STILL does not work. This issue is ALL OVER Google and NO suggested fixes work.

If these two fundamentals aren't fixed, I won't be buying a Note 9.

Workaround for Thai, use Bixby Vision on your camera. When it detects text you can capture a shot and use the translate button and in my usage has done a great job of accurately scanning the characters (used chinese, japanese) and translating it.

Otherwise for those same languages and others, S-Pen translate has worked pretty well for me for reading characters from scans. If I find S-Pen is having difficulties reading characters from scans, Bixby Vision has done a much better job than the Google Translate app.
