S Pen Use

Excuse me, how do you free write at ANY time with your s pen? I know that's pretty vague, but for example in the middle of a call when you want to take a note, or when I have a bible app open and want to jot something anywhere on the screen. Is that possible. I know where I can write notes but I want to (for another example) in my bible app where the note option is it sort of forces me to select text letters with my pen but I want to use handwriting. hod do I go about that? Thank you!

If you hold the button on pen and double tap on the screen the mini s-note will pop up and u take notes and move it around...

I use it at work all day for work.
Car sales I write customers names and info and stock numbers of cars they are interested in. Pretty handy. I also walk the lot and take notes on inventory :-D

I use it to draw, mostly. Got the device because I'm an artist... So it's like an "on the go" sketchbook. Amazing. The possibilities are endless with apps like sketchbook mobile.

I also use it to take notes or jot down ideas when the inspiration strikes.

Sometimes I take screenshots of certain things that I'm doing on the phone and I write on them for reference or to message it to someone.

I can honestly say that the only thing that could replace my Note 2 is... Another Note 2 or a Note 3... If the latter isn't too ridiculously large.

The s-pen is what brings a lot of versatility and power to this device. Force yourself to use it, and you'll never go back :-)

But still no REAL suggestions on how to use it... I mean, sure, note taking is 'cool' I guess, but I still haven't found an app that TRULY takes advantage of the S Pen... And no one seems to be giving any other suggestions than note-taking and (oddly) Draw Something... Mine is still neatly tucked behind the device most of the time...

Sketchbook mobile takes full advantage of the s-pen. I don't know if there are any other artists commenting on this thread, but that is probably my most used app in terms of the s-pen.

I just use it instead of using my fingers most of time..... I get tired of touching the screen all the time. And the short cuts of the pen I don't have to press menu or the back button anymore usually...

In the very beginning... i wasnt the Spen that much.. because it was alittle bit tedious to find the Snote APP... and click create a note.....etc.... but once i learned how to change the option to open SNOTE as a pop-up whenever the SPen is removed.... maybe it sooooo much practical.... for copying notes..numbers.. ideas...etc.

Some things i like to do with the SPEN

My wife sends the grocery list on an email..... and i upload it on the SNOTE... and use the pen to cross out all the stuff i picked up.....just making it easier to see whats left to pickup etc....... Nothing worse than going home and bringing 3 lemons..instead of the 12 your wife wanted... (movie reference... lol)

When i visit customers...i use the SNOTE to jot down notes and then email it to my work computer

I also like using it when surfing the web sometimes on my phone...

Amazing phone...

When I had my Note 2, I used the S-pen for note taking mostly. I didn't use post-its at all during that time. It was just a lot more convenient to have all of my notes in one place. I found d myself taking notes all the time. Other than that, I didn't really use the S-pen for anything else.

This is why I wanted an s-pen... Because I can draw whatever I want. I think samsung should market this to the art community. I guarantee you so many people will jump on board with this device. I like it way more than my ipad. I'm actually considering getting a Note tablet to replace the ipad. Not sure yet. It just feels better drawing on this device that on the ipad... It's like... More fluid... More precise. That's due in part to the pencil style of the s-pen.
