S voice network error

Lately I've been getting a lot of network error please try again when using s voice. Usually I have to reboot my phone it happens in WiFi and 4g. Has anyone else been experiencing this or know of a fix. I just tried clearing app data so we'll see how that goes.
 
Almost every time I try SVoice I get a network error, it's basically useless to me. I'm about ready to remap the double tap keypress to something useful. Wish I had a suggestion for a fix, I'll be interested to see how clearing the data does.
 
I don't know if this helps you or not, I kept getting Network Errors and it turned out that I didn't have the Bluetooth turned on on the handset. So, every time I tried to place a call in my car on my speaker bluetooth, it came up as Network Error, Try Again Later.

Yeah but it wasn't just for making calls it was everything from sending a text to asking to navigate somewhere. So far I've had good luck with clearing the data its only been one day tho. I wonder if the upcoming jelly bean update is effecting it maybe on the server side
 
Not sure, but it may be occurring since the firmware update few days ago. Not sure if it coincides. I changed voice input to vlingo in settings, and got same network error. Worked well before. Sigh
 
The only way that I have been able to get s voice to work is to make sure that WiFi is off. It only appears to work when you are connected to your carrier's network. I have tried this on all 3 S3 that my family has. On 3G & 4G it usually works fine.

Didnt worwk for me. Turned off wifi, and left data only. huge issue, since it worked until several days ago around the fimrware update. Screws hands free calling while driving. really poor Samsung.
 
S Voice on my new (six-week old) Samsung GS3 was working fine, UNTIL the OTA software update I ran on Thursday. Ever since, I get the "network error" every time I give S Voice a command. This is true with or without using my bluetooth headset, and 0with or without Wifi enabled. I strongly suspect it happened at the update. HELP!
 
Servers seem to be up now. No network error and S voice responds as before.
Except the voice prompts no longer work!! Damn. Used to speak time and prompts but no more. All settings set as before update. Every solution has its problems.
 
At least I'm not alone in this issue. I was getting a lot of "network errors" too but that seems to have gone away. But the voice prompt will not work. I wonder if this has anything to do with the lawsuit Samsung just went through.
 
Seems like S-Voice only works when I'm at home on wifi. Never in my car, never at work. It either gives me this notification or just sits there loading.

And no, Apple is not behind this lol.

Also getting network errors but Verizon hasn't pushed an OTA yet so that's probably not the issue. Maybe it's just crap and ver2.0 will be better.

Thank you Jesus! Reached home and apparently you can only access S voice on Wi-Fi that you were connected when you turned it on! Not using it again! ty Android.
 
Disable all the "S-"s,..... theyr crap! :)

Don't know if it will fix the problem for anyone else but uninstalling adblock plus fixed the issue for me. In my case s-voice would not work on any wifi connection. Adblock plus was only blocking ads on wifi connections so I took a wild guess and I was right. S-voice has been working perfectly fine ever since.

Hopefully this may help someone else.
 
Didn't have to uninstall it, but disabling AdBlock really allowed Svoice to work.

Hey Bro, i have had the same Prob. ALLWAYS my phone was connected via 3G everything went right, but when i came Home, and my phone ( The S3) logged into WLAN nothing worked! I got such a terrible big headace, is it the right word for pain on my Head? Cause i am german!! hahaha, but i found out, I have installed the App: AddBlock!!! These App has stopped nearly all WLAN funktions!! After deinstallation everything is going Well, if not to say very well. I hope, i have could helpeld you!! Your?s,. Stefan

There will be no difference between the Android vers. It?s a Prob of the Add Blocking Software!!!
