S10+ Model number confusion

I'm planning on getting a factory unlocked model S10+ for use on T-Mobiile Simply Prepaid. I'm either going to get it direct from Samsung.com, or Swappa. Ideally, I'll get either the Flamingo Pink, or one of the Ceramic models, but it'll depend on what's listed on Swappa, I guess. I'm a bit confused as to which model to get that will work without issue. I know I could just get the T-Mobile variant, but I don't want any carrier bloat. Which model number phone do I get? What's the difference between models SM-G975U and SM-G975UI? Help appreciated.

SM-G975U1 is unlocked
You can enjoy no carrier splash screen, carrier bloat.
Can be slower at updates for security and OS, as they wait for all 4 carriers to pass before updating unlocked version.
Updates are now from Samsung not carrier . Some things like RCS messages so you can read receipt and video dialer are no longer as its carrier features, also might not support wifi calling depending which carrier sim you use.
Me personally have one more month its paid off and I'll flash to the unlocked version once its unlocked.

Will unlocked support wifi calling on TMobile?

I wonder which color way of the S10's are selling the most units, and if Samsung has gone through the first few manufactured batches yet? When can we expect to have the devices manufactured in the month of April up until this point available for sale directly from the website?

Good question, not sure though

Is there a difference?

Not really, just curious. I see the Prism White being mentioned a lot on different forums and on Reddit, and all the "main" reviewers on YouTube seemed to be using it as well. I personally don't know if it's my favorite, but at the same time, I've decided Flamingo Pink is just too garish for my taste. The Ceramics are way expensive. I can probably get one on Swappa for a bit less, but I'm a bit cautious buying off there, ever since my experience with a jerk off seller who I bought the LG V30 from last year. I figure it's just safer I buy direct. But since I make a point not to be an early adopter of any phone, I'm hoping Samsung will have worked out any kinks with quality control.

QC issues can happen later as well as sooner. If there were any QA issues which brought about design or production changes that might make more of a difference with build dates.

The T-Mobile variant doesn't have any carrier bloatware. Not sure what your concern is here.

Not judging anything but i wished the Prism White was the more expensive version because it looks better. The Ceramic White version has Rose Gold bezels. For me its a turnoff. And no review on youtube mentioned it. I also only found out after i opened the box and wth...

Part of what makes it more expensive is the ceramic. I don't have any issue withe bezels. It's really subtle and I actually think it adds to the phone.

So I have a shot to get a brand new, sealed unlocked Ceramic White 1TB/12GB S10+ that was purchased by a local owner from Best Buy online. She decided not to keep it, and is selling it for $1110. As a lighter, basic user, there's absolutely *no way* I need all that space. For reference, I'm currently using a 64 GB Nexus 6P that has only 7.8 GB of apps installed, while the system takes up 8.5 GB, and the rest is used up for photos (0.75 GB), music (2.3 GB) and other files. Essentially, only 20 GB's of storage is used, so that would barely be a blip on a phone like that, much less the standard 128 GB model.

The issue is, since I'm in NYC, I have to pay state sales tax. If I were to purchase a 128 GB model directly off of Samsung.com, the final total of my order would be only $22 short of the price of the totally specked out Ceramic White. I did ask if she had a receipt, and she said that it was online and would provide it. I'm just very wary of getting a phone that way again, after dealing with a completely rude, jerk seller last year, especially with such a large sum of cash. What should I do? Advice is welcome, because I'd like to make my purchase today. Thanks in advance.

Its rose gold... At least they should give 2 options considering its $1700 price tag...

So a 12/1 Ceramic White S10 Plus for $1110?well honestly i have both the 8/128 and 12/1. They are both most likely the same.

But since the 8/128 is $22 cheaper than the 12/1 version then might as well get the maxed out version. Btw how long has it been used? Any signs of abuse?

That's the thing, it's sealed new, apparently purchased from Best Buy three weeks ago.

It's a good deal, but my concern would be warranty transferability if she registered it. If she didn't it might not be a probable with a different name on the receipt. I would call Samsung and ask. Not sure why you have to pay tax. It's definitely overkill as far as RAM and storage.

Honestly, it's barely noticeable especially next to my daughters Rose Gold watch. I had heard that it had a gold finish but it did look like chrome from photos on Samsung.com

I don't think it's reasonable to expect them make phones in options for everyone's liking but they should have made it a bit clearer so you knew what you were getting. I'm very happy with the look but it's a personal choice.

My wife and I bought our s10+ from tmobile store 9 days ago. Mine prism white was built first week of April, hers last week of March.
There's only two obvious t mobile bloat , I've circled it in the attached .20190513_115445.jpg

How do you find out the build date of your phone? I've used that site that tells you to the day how old a phone is, but I've not seen it done for Samsung phones.
