So is there anyone here who uses the S20 Ultra in 2022? I know the S20 Ultra isn't the most popular device out there due to the camera issues. But I still think it's a really good buy in 2022 if you can get it for the right price. I got one recently and the camera doesn't seem to be too bad. I can see a little bit of issue sometimes, but for the most part, it seems to perform pretty good. I definitely wouldn't have purchased it for 1400 dollars, let alone any phone for that price.

It's also part of the last Samsung S series device to support expandable memory, so something that definitely sticks out in my mind.

My son traded in his 20U for the flip 4. He loves his flip 4 mainly for the form factor but there are things he misses about his 20u and I really couldn't see much difference between his 20u to my 22u... except for the expandable storage. And my other son is still using his 10+ with no problems. All that said, I think the 20u is an excellent phone & excellent choice.

For under 400 dollars... For what you get with the S20U, it's a great value IMO. It's the most affordable "Ultra," phone currently. I was looking at the Note 20 Ultra which is way more expensive for me personally and couldn't justify spending the extra 200 plus dollars. I was also looking at the S22 Ultra, but just way too expensive for me and I personally really loathe losing expandable memory and a device without it with only 128gb, which is the cheapest model, just isn't enough honestly.

Despite being capped at only 1080 resolution when using high refresh rate, I have found the screen to be really bright, vibrant and crisp, so it's not really a big deal to me. I have seen other screens that were capped at 1080 because of high refresh rate and they didn't seem to look as good as this one does to me. It's not adaptive either unlike newer Samsung devices, but I don't have any issue with battery life so far so it doesn't matter personally to me. I also love the fact that it supports 45 watt charging like my Note 10 plus and the build quality of the phone, with the exception of the camera module. Not a fan of that design like the newer Samsung devices.

I kept my S20 as a bkup.

I do miss that Samsung doesn't do the whole "expandable memory" thing anymore. Glad you got the S20 Ultra at a good price and that it's serving you well!

Yeah I don't have it anymore though lol I went with the S21 Ultra instead which is a far more superior device in most ways.
