S21 plus 4G and 5G switching on phone

I bought a new S21+ a few weeks ago and have noticed it switches from 4G LTE to 5G quite often even with a fairly strong signal. It doesn't seem to cause any connection issues though. I'm on the Verizon network and it is a Verizon phone. There isn't much of a speed difference so it probably doesn't matter. Is this normal?

I noticed this on Att and Tmobile , it depends on the area and if it's congested it will switch
