Got some "MURICA" in today. Shot in Expert Raw edited in LightRoom.
I traded my Pixel 6 for an S22 Plus because I just couldn't take the terrible finger print sensor anymore. I knew the camera would not be as good, but I was shocked at how bad it was. I have never had a Samsung phone, but this was their flagship, and with so many people buying it, I thought how bad could the camera be. Well, I found out. Here is a comparison of photos taken with my S22 and my three year old Pixel 4XL. It's like night and day. And again, this is a three year old Pixel phone. The top one is the S22

I dont see that much difference tbh. Could you point out a couple things that are subpar in the s22 pic in your opinion?
Yes the top picture is blurry. For me I prefer the color of top. The bottom color is too yellow on the pixel. Is the room really that yellow? As in bottom photo.other then no blurring I don't think the pixel photo. Is all that good either. The entire shelf is blurry, the colour is washed out, and the bracket on the wall has become almost invisible.

Actually, comparing my S22+ to my Pixel 4XL is not that meaningful. I just don't have any A/B shots with my Pixel 6 (which I don't have anymore). However, here is a shot with my P6 in the same room to show you what it can do.
