I stopped by Zagg today as I usually do to get a glass screen protector. No glass from them for S22U and the guy wanted $70 for a soft screen protector.

I have always avoided putting a screen protector on because my poor manual dexterity and low threshold for frustration.

Is there any other place that puts glass screens on the phone?

IMO the Whitestone Dome is the only glass that works properly on these curved displays. Just take your time and try to install the WSD yourself.

There's another thread here on screen protectors and I posted in that about my experience (good) with the Costco phone kiosk, where they custom cut and apply a film type screen protector for $25.00 that includes
a lifetime warranty.

I've read the Spen doesn't get along well with film protectors...It leaves marks behind?

Been using a S-pen all the time on my tablet with a TPU screen protector and streaks or makes of any kind. I would guess no marks on glass.

That screen protector works great with the S Pen. I've done some colouring in PenUp.

I believe any mobile store (Verizon, T-Mobile, and mom/pop phone repair places) install protectors for you for free as long as you purchase the protector from them.

Personally I only use TPU protectors made by LK Case (available on amazon) from now on. They offer lifetime replacement, are cheap, and their step-by-step guide is fool-proof. Really can't mess up with em.

For the last year my Note9 had a flexible screen protector from Zagg. It was always getting marked. It ruined the looks of the display. I ripped it off and discarded it. Before that I was happy with glass although it would eventually get spider cracks.

If that happens, the rep said he's refund my money. We shall see...

It was glass that got the spider cracks. Your protection is some sort of flexible material right?

I don't have a Costco card so that's not an option for me anyway. $25 is fair for plastic imo. I hope it works out well.

I will check if VZW puts on screen protectors for customers.

It looked like the video was filmed at ubreakifix so they may have the service.

Hardly ever have used one with these curved screens! I never keep an keys or change in my pocket with the phone and always used a super thick case. SO far haven't cracked a screen.

Honestly I get screen protectors for the micro scratches not so much cracks.Seeing those kind of imperfections really drives me nuts.

Me too. If the S-View case didn't have a hole in the front cover I wouldn't have added the protector at all. I carry Samsung Care so if the screen cracks it's $29 to fix it.
