S24 series on January 17th

So I'm looking at the 24+ now. It's $300 cheaper at checkout.

From what I'm seeing most everything is the same that matters.

Spen.i hardly ever use it

Camera.. I'm happy with the fold 5 camera, so I imagine I will be happy with the plus camera.

Battery basically the same

Screen size basically the same

Titanium on ultra isn't big deal since most everyone puts the phone in a case

Processors the same

Memory the same

Don't need the 1TB storage

Can anyone tell me $300 more is worth it for me. Am I missing something Thanks

Aesthetics! I agree with everything you say EXCEPT the Plus looks too much like an iPhone. I like the square FLAT look of the Ultra...so that's what I went with!

It's definitely an exhausting ordeal. I experienced all those things you described when I ordered my s22U. I kept losing everything in my cart & would have to start over. Each time one more of the accessory items I had chosen was sold out. I finally just opted to only purchase the phone. I don't remember how many hours it took, but I was so relieved.

Then my husband walked into the room & said, 'I changed my mind, I want one too!'

I had to do it all again....

Above I was recounting the 'fun' I had while trying to pre-ordered my s22Ultra due to the strain on the Samsung servers. Finally, after achieving success, my husband decided he wanted one, so I had to repeat the order struggle again.

This year, he again assured me that he wasn't interested in a new device. He watched the Samsung Unpacked 2024 last nite & you all know what happened next. History repeated itself. He decided he wanted a Galaxy s24 Ultra, 512, Titanium Green. So let's do it again...

I still had troubles. The cart kept including 4 items that I didn't select. I'd delete the whole cart, close & force stop the app, clear the cache, then start over. Happened 5 times.

So finally success, moving on.

The selection for the additional 150.00 credit is pretty slim at this point. The volume of the pre-ordered sales must be quite good!

Yeah about half the accessories I chose are not the right ones and some of them are doubled. Screw it! I moved on after two hours and since it went through I guess I will just have extra crap to store in a drawer until it goes to the landfill! So much for the environment...Thanks Samsung!

But don't forget, the crap that's going straight to landfill instead of just giving you money off the phone is 32%* recycled materials!

ugh, i read on reddit someone who got their S24x in Turkey in one hour after he ordered it! he said something about ordering it through agora or something like that. one hour!
