S24 Ultra Colors which one are you getting?

Good to hear re: cases not interfering w/stylus, and I totally agree, popping the case off is no big deal.

The S24U will be the first device I've owned with a built-in stylus, and it's merely an after thought for me. Sure, it will come in real handy for things like signing documents but I just don't find myself using them often.

After owning this ~1 lb brick of a ZF3 for the past 2 years, I'm looking forward mostly to a more usable primary display as a daily driver and a camera with modern specs.

Well, the beauty is you don't have to pop the case off, just pull the magnetic accessory off.

I always felt the same way about the S-Pen. First device I had with it was the S21 Ultra and I barely used it, but having it integrated on the S23 Ultra made a lot of difference. I could certainly live without it, but I wouldn't really want to . And you haven't experienced the Bluetooth features yet, which are more useful than they may at first seem. used it today for skipping back and forth in a podcast. May still not be your thing, but it is TOTALLY different having it actually built in.

Another proponent of the SPen here. I've been using it since the Note 3 and idk if I can use a device w/o one. My most used features are magnifier, precise mouse pointer and text selection, volume/skip, and camera shutter. Great for group photos! I hope you find it useful.

Just seen an unboxing video of the titanium voliet, and it looks nice if that will be the actual shade. Kind of reminisce of the deep purple from the iPhone 14 pro but not as dark.

I use Magsafe cases with my S23 Ultra, and none of them interfere with the pen. I think that was a bigger problem with older peak design cases which have incredibly powerful magnets. I do have a peak design S23 Ultra case though, and it isn't an issue.

You do run into issues with an accessory attached, but they are so easy to remove that complaining about it seems a bit ridiculous...

I'm never going back to a case without Qi2/Magsafe.

Now that I think of it, when you get a minute, could you please share any product links for mag-safe desktop chargers, travel chargers, etc that you've had good luck with on your Android phones (using mag-safe cases obviously).

I have two desktop from Samsung promos but I'm assuming they won't work with the mag-safe cases. I would like to avoid having to remove the case every night before placing my new S24U on the charger.

It has a good strong magnet and it was one of very few when I was buying to specifically call out support for Samsung devices including the Galaxy watch charging puck, albeit the older watch 4 one. I'd provide a link, but it would be to Amazon UK which probably wouldn't be very useful.

Your Samsung wireless charger will also work fine with a Magsafe case attached, although you obviously won't see the benefit. I am curious if Samsung will release their own Qi2 stand if it's integrated into the S24 series and that rumour wasn't just hot air.

The popsockets wallet is also a surprisingly versatile accessory if you are into that sort of thing. The Peak Design wallet is a bit more stylish, but has weak magnets so is best used with a Peak Design case or something with similarly strong magnets.

Although I'd like to see $700 for the S23U, I'm not really disappointed if $600 is true. That would be $100 up from last year's preorder of $500 for the S22U.

I believe it's $50 for reserving and then $100 for pre-ordering the S24U. All $150 can be used towards accessories and Samsung care I think.
