S25U WiFi calling issues

Since getting the S25 Ultra, I'm having issues making calls over WiFi. I had no issues with my S24 Ultra and my wife's S24 Ultra still has no issues. But when making or receiving a call with my S25 Ultra, the call drops after about 30 seconds, often followed by a message about the eSim (from T-Mobile). I have very little mobile service where I live so WiFi calling is my only choice (I tried the T-Mobile "Cell Spot", but could never get it working).

Anyone else having issues making WiFi calls?

Sounds like a T-Mobile provisioning issue. My first suggestion would be to call T-Mobile support. Ask them to check your account and plan configuration. Also they should resend the provisioning info to your phone. If that doesn't work, you may want to switch back to a physical sim.

I called t-mobile 3 times. the first two they did the provisioning but it didn't help. Finally, late yesterday I got somebody that was motivated to help. I initially asked if I could switch to a physical sim, but they recommended deleting the eSim and re-adding it. I deleted the eSim and he re-added the eSim. That did fix the problem.

Thanks for sharing the solution with us. So many people don't bother...

I still have never gone e-SIM because I've seen too many problems on here where the solution seems to be to go back to the physical SIM.

I love the idea of e-SIM I'm just afraid of issues that may arise. And some people say it is a pain if you ever want to switch your SIM out. (I don't know why I care about that one, because I have never wanted to switch my SIM out in 27+ years of having mobile devices.)

I'm sure one day it will be forced on me and everything will be fine! Just like losing the removable battery, expandable storage, and now the bluetooth Spen.

When I switched to T-Mobile about a year ago they only offered an eSIM - it seemed easier than a physical SIM. I hadn't had a problem until I switched to the S25U, and only with WiFi calls - mobile calling was fine. The biggest problem I had was finding a tech support person who cared enough to find a solution. One tech support person told me to contact my wifi provider.
