Sprint Galaxy S3. My girlfriend accidentally deleted her photos from her phone. They were in the internal memory. (no microSD). I looked up online how to retrieve the photos and downloaded about 5 free software that all do the same thing. The problem is that all the software has to detect the phone as a letter drive. When I put the phone into debugging mode, my computer picks it up, but it will only show it as a media. e.g.: (Phone name). Not Drive G: or whatever, so I can't seem to recover the photos. Does anyone have another way around this. If you need any more information to further understand my situation feel free to ask and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks so much in advance for any help you all give me.

Oh i forgot to mention the phone got the new update of 4.3. I'm not sure if that might have something to do with it not showing up as a letter drive. Maybe I'm missing a step. IDK.

No Android device from 4.0 or higher shows up as a drive any more. I'm not aware of a workaround, unfortunately, but hopefully someone else will have an idea.
