My battery doesn't last the 8hrs at work with little to no use. I've been fighting getting the S3, Razr HD MAXX or the LG Nexus. But if the rumors are true the LG Nexus is not going to have LTE, no expandable memory, and also likely not coming to Verizon. The Razr HD Maxx has a locked bootloader and with Motos recent backing out of updating their devices I don't think I want to give them my money. This leaves me with the S3, would you guys buy the phone again? And would you buy it this far into it's life cycle?

If I where you I would buy a new battery for a few bucks and hold out to see what's officially released in the next few weeks leading up to the shopping season. I've had my gnex since launch day, stock battery, and I have no problem getting 15+hrs streaming Pandora (wifi) all day, syncing everything, gps, LTE off unless out of Wifi, and 1+hrs of screen time if I try. I'm rarely away from an outlet, car charger, or usb port during the workday.

My Gnex battery needed charged after 2hrs because of a lousy signal. Bought an S3 and easily get 15hrs out of it with high-moderate use. (7 on a scale of 1-10 type use) Also have 4G at work, in my basement, etc. MY S3 is fantastic.

That's what I'm dealing with. On my 1hr 15 minute commute to work I listen to 1 locally stored podcast with DogCatcher and my battery would be down to 65% it's unbelievable. All I have running is my 4g and Tasker.

My Nexus ended up acting a little weird so I upgraded to Galaxy SIII. In all honesty, the SIII is light years ahead of the Nexus as far as performance. No random reboots, no lag, long battery use, 4G coverage almost every where, no volume or bluetooth issues, etc.

I have not a SINGLE compliant aside from the fact that we still have ICS instead of JB but even then, this ICS is soooooooo smooth and bug free that I really don't want to upgrade anyway. This is just my opinion but this is coming from someone who LOVED his Nexus and was reluctant to upgrade until I was practically forced to.

Are you stock or rooted?
