S4 and Imac

I just recently purchase an IMac and am just learning how to use it.

When I plug in the S4 to the IMac it gives tow options on the phone, I check transfer files because I want to drag and drop some songs onto the S4 but when I go to the IMac I do not see the phone showing up on it.

Any Ideas what I am doing wrong?

It was so simple on the PC before.

It was so simple on the PC before.

Never saw it on my imac. I had to use the Airdroid app to transfer files through my wireless network.

Congrats on the iMac, I love my 27" with Fusion Drive.

Android File Transfer. Connect it directly at the back. I made a mistake of connecting it to the Wired Keyboard port. :-[

Would not work for me, I have tried that one since the S4 has been release. That is why I went to AirDroid.

It's a great app but it doesn't support M4A and M4V files.

Samsung Kies Air is alright but can take forever.

After using App Cleaner to remove kies a couple reboots and a reinstall, I got Kies to work. Probably will stick with AirDroid though.
