S5 Transfer Problem

Im trying to transfer some videos .avi and .mp4 from my laptop to the sd card in my S5..
im having problems because although it has done maybe 1/2 out of about 10 videos the rest show as example 1hr 50mins on my laptop but when i transfer them to my phone it shows as 0hr 00mins even though its taken just as long to transfer...

Its getting confusing now as it worked on a couple but not the rest..

Can someone help?

Are you using a USB hub? Most of them fail on large file transfers, and all you get is a zero length file. Put the card into a card reader and plug it into the computer. (And make sure there's enough space for the file on the card.)

There are ways to help you transfer videos to Galaxy S5, transfer via USB cable or through sd card. Usually I just turn on tethering and transfer videos through Wi-Fi

Or, without tethering, if you have a router running, with WiFi File Transfer.
