S6 Common issues /problems

i have been having problems with me not always getting notifactions till i turn on the phone OR open the app that would give the notification.

I'm up for an upgrade 6/19 and am leaning towards the S6E; however, I'm becoming very wary after my research has identified numerous issues with overheating, memory leak, & light bleed from beazals. For what it's worth, I'm on Verizon. Please help ease my worries...or confirm these issues as widespread.

I haven't heard of this with other S6 phones and I have not had that problem. You might check to see if it is covered under warranty. However, probably what has happened is that you hit the extended camera cover and you did not know it.

? All of the s6 edge have a protruding camera lens

Light bleed around the bezel isn't an issue. Its the way the phone is made. I've had no issues regarding the memory leak, or overheating. Had mine over a month.

No...there have been several complaints where there is actually a gap between the edge of the screen and the body of the phone where the backlight actually shines through.

I got my S6e yesterday. I am having an issue that when I enable Do Not Disturb, on the lock screen I am getting a notification that "System UI Content Hidden".

I have searched and searched for a way to get rid of this, but am unable. Does anyone have any ideas?

Mobile Data button disappeared from nowhere..... Should i really say something else? I wish we could rollback to android 4, this is soo incredibly annoyng. Plus: why the hell i get a warning if i turn off wifi but not if i turn off mobile data? Is it really more important to be online than to save money which might be charged from mobile data????!?! REALLY???!?!!??!!?? WTF

I'm getting really annoying ads that pop up out of nowhere and cover my whole screen. There's some text that says "Ads by inmobi" in the bottom corner. I remember a recent update and my kid puts some games on my phone every now and then, but I can't figure out how to get this to stop. Any help would be appreciated.

So I heard with the edge, you can get your text notifications only on the edge screen so your whole screen does not light up... I am using samsungs text app and my notifications are not coming through on edge screen just lighting up full screen... I have text messages notification turned on for edge screen but can't get it to work. Is it possible to just light up edge screen?

When it's face down, the edge screen lights up.

Anybody buy a brand new edge at a vzw corporate store in the last couple of weeks? Do u have the overheating while charging problem or the unable to rotate problem? I'm trying to check if newer phones have these issues corrected.

S6 edge media volume is automatically turning down to safe volume (from orange level to blue level) while on bluetooth. I turn the music back up and seconds later the phone automatically resets low to safe volume. what can i do to disable this?

I have the texts turned OFF on the lock screen and the screen still lights up. Very annoying
