S6 Edge functions?

S6 Edge functions...

I would assume that the edge functions (people's edge, app edge and the like) would all be programming, the edge is just a curved screen... So wouldn't it be possible to dump the firmware and load it to a standard s6? I get the point of the glowing edge ad stuff wouldn't be the same, but the general functions could work?

Are you thinking to get S6 functions/features on a regular S6? Why? Otherwise its the same.
