S7 Edge restarting sometimes using apps and poor battery

hi i am having problems with my phone first once is that the phone automatically starts restarting i have even factory reset this mostly happens when opening pages on Facebook. The other problem is that i am not getting consistent battery life is there any solution.

did you try restarting your phone manually once? if not then you need to take it to the service centre and get it checked out. you can try and replicate the issue at the service shop

thanks for your reply but it only happens on Facebook when opening links how is that possible. The rest of the apps work fine no problems

I'm having issues with my phone battery I'm losing 1% every minute i use the phone is this normal?

Do not do the latest system update ! Its srcewing a lot of phones. massive batt drain, bricking, lagging, ect. MAssive samsung FAIL !

My batt drain is ridiculous since updating. So far thats all Ive experienced since updating. I just wonder if its perhaps the kernel and it needs to settle in. But in that article i just posted ........... ah jee wiz, i jumped the gun totally ! that was from like back in MAy. Sorry nevermind.

Hello I would just like to know is there anyway to getter better battery and why is my android system so high it's at 20% is this normal? I cannot get even 4hrs sot.

You need to clear the system cache or try to delete the updates of google play services and afther that restart your phone. I did it somethimes I had this problem.

Thanks for your reply. I have cleared the system cache many times but it makes no difference. Also doesn't deleting Google play services updates affect the services in the phone?

I've been having the same problem with my S7 Active. Try restricting background data and see if that helps. Go into data usage and there's an option to blanket restrict background data up at the top right under the "more" setting. If that helps, you can turn it off then go and selectively restrict data by clicking on the apps individually further down the page. It made a HUGE difference for me.

Thanks but I've tried that aswell but nothing seems too work I am losing around 1% every 3 mins I am on the phone everyday

Same here, had a 15+ app update push yesterday and woke up to 100% from sleep and it is draining 1% every minute. Cleared cache, cleared memory, rebooted 3 times. No result.

I've been having the same issue recently. Even before the issue I made sure to clear the cache through the boot menu. I've only had draining issues for the last few days. I think its related to the recent update. Android System is the biggest drainer

I had this start happening today. Went to bed with 100% battery at 1200am. Battery died around 4am. If my wife hadn't woken me, I would have been late for work. I hope, if it is related to the last update, a fix is forthcoming VERY soon.

I had the exact same problem, starting today. I completely uninstalled Ocululus and it seems to be better. The last update is completely borked.

My husband and I have the S7 edge an both of our phones started doing the exact same thing today. The battery drains very quickly and the phones are very hot all day..even when we aren't using it. Could it have been an update? We've closed out everything over and over cleaned up apps and nothing has helped.
