Still on Android 7.
Here's what I see:
The hardware home button only responds intermittently, even using the Fingertouch service doesn't always get a response. Sometimes I can press the button 4 times.
Apps sometimes take seconds to respond
On the lock screen the phone is often not responsive at all. About half the time now I see:
* the volume buttons do nothing
* dismissing a notification leaves a grey background, but the notification remains
* the fingerprint unlocking doesn't always work. Sometimes it will unlock halfway through typing in my PIN when it catches up to the lag..
I don't want to reset it because I don't want to spend hours setting it up again - and let's face it I shouldn't have to.
Anyone else come across this and have insight into what if anything specific might be behind the symptoms?
I'd heard of the Samsung lag, though I had no idea how bad it could be. I haven't got a huge number of apps and nothing unusual, certainly nothing not from the Play store.
