S7 Edge standby battery life?

It's showing 53mAh but it's only been on 31 minutes. That number will rise the longer the screen is used throughout the day. If you've just had a software update it's maybe worth clearing the cache partition first before you go down the restore route

I love the standby time on my S7 Edge. I left the phone at home yesterday and used my Note 5 so that I could test out a custom ROM on that phone. I never use the always on.

Today I began using the S7 Edge and after all this standby time, I have 3 hrs 32 minutes screen time.

Dov1978 I did a partition cache wipe yesterday. It didn't help.

I used package disabler pro to disable a bunch of junk and my standby performance has improved dramatically. Still monitoring it since it's only been two days, but I would estimate the strandby drain is now about 25% of what it was before. Still have AOD and all push stuff on.

I turned off WiFi Always Scanning and Bluetooth Scanning and Standby drain was cut in half.

Its battery life seems good. I just read its review here A Little Edge to Samsung S7- Samsung S7 Edge Full Review - Quick Techno Tips and it says everything good about S7 edge so you can safely buy it in my opinion.

You are right. Stand by sucks. Might be because of TouchWiz even with doze in Marshmallow

Since I'm on AT&T also disabled their bloatware. Really impressed with the results so far, but today will be the first real test since it is the first full workday with the new config. So far it is looking good.
