Ohhhh on my invoice it also has a line "UPSSHP003", which I suppose means UPS will be the shipper

Only movement seen on the silver phones have been for the folks that ordered on the 23rd so far. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't update anything on your order until tomorrow or Tuesday.

I now have a ship date 3/7 and a ups tracking number. Verizon app says ground What happened 2nd day ? No tracking info on ups site . Ordered 2/27 edge gold

I was wondering if this was going to happen - it isn't uncommon for companies to select shipping methods based on the distance to destination and the release date. If Verizon ships Monday for a Friday 'promise date', they can ship ground and the phone will still arrive early. Shipping ground for all will be much cheaper than waiting until Wed and shipping them all 2day, which is much more expensive. Now...it said 'free 2 day' or 'free overnight' on the site...so arguably that wasn't the best custom experience if it wasn't definitely going that method...but at the end of the day, the phone should still arrive by the release date which is what the ultimate promise was.

A ton of data is updating through all of the systems, so I guess we won't know for sure until the UPS tracking codes update on their site.

Well it did say UPSGROUND2 which I assume is still two day. I think that means I should get it by Wednesday.
