S7 Edge - Verizon preorders

Pre-ordered on Verizon first couple hours in on the 23rd the silver. Got an email and everything said ship by March 11th. Even this morning it still said March 11th. Checked it when I saw this thread and it said 31st for me now too. Absolutely unreal if it's true... Let's wait till someone with Verizon can check at work tomorrow for us.

Mine still doesn't show any date. I think the silver edge is definitely back ordered but they put the new ship date on all silver edge orders.

I'm not a patient person to begin with, and the fact I was on the phone with Big Red for two hours on the 23rd with a brand new, first day on the job customer service representative after being up for almost 24 hours still chaps my bottom. I'm not the type to rant, but holy cow.

Based on my experience, This is honestly just a glitch on the site. There has been very little demand at least in our stores for the new galaxies. Most people are ordering the S7 and have no interest in the edge.

I wouldn't worry, you'll get them on time. Verizon is always good on delivery on time, just not early.

Once again, when I go in tomorrow I'll clarify everything for you guys.

Are you able to get clarification on the free Gear S2 as well? Would ordering in the store still qualify or just ordering online?

A customer service rep just told me it automatically shifts your order to the bottom of the list if you have checked the "status" page more than 20 times in 24 hours.

Ugh. My S7 in black still says 3/11, my husband's S7 edge in silver changed to the 31st today also. I am going to feel so awful if his is that late. We are trading in our iPhones so I only have 2 weeks to send mine back after the Galaxy arrives.

Uhh what? Lol

Well I just checked and it's now on the 31at as well. I don't care about that, but if I don't get my S2 I'll be incredibly angry.

It's definitely only an online deal. If you order in store, You get $100 or Free VR headset.
 
I don't even have a ship date, just says "order processing check back later." I have to refrain from going on there now.
 
Just cancelled mine. Really wanted it for the waterproofing / etc but I don't want samsung to totally screw me like they're doing on the gifts of the season. I've lost confidence that I will get my S2 if I go through with it. That was the whole reason I did it was the ganga price of 100$ off and the free smart watch. Not worth it if they're going to screw me out of my reward like they did before.
 
I wonder, since Verizon is the # 1 wireless carrier, and Sprint/T-Mobil are not, Verizon gets more orders of the new models, and are delayed because of this. Just thinking out loud. Thoughts ?
 
Well everything on Verizon seems to point towards the silver being back ordered. Just got off the phone with a rep who didn't know anything yet, but I cancelled my order and switched to a black one just to be safe.

From the sound of it after reading a posts here and on a few other forums all the silver orders are being changed to the 31st and then they will change them back to the correct date based on when they were pre-ordered. So those of you who ordered day 1 are probably safe, someone like me who just ordered today probably wouldn't have been getting it until the 31st. Hopefully we find out everything soon though.

This was a CSR having fun with you, or being very mis-informed...there is no way this is true
 
Just talked to another CSR rep. Verizon is only allowed an X number of silver S7 edges from Samsung and they sold out of them right away and the silver S7 edge is definitely backordered. The rep said I won't get the silver s7 edge now until 03/31/2016, even thought I preordered it right away once preorders were started. That's such bull****. So I just preordered the black one instead so I can get that one next week instead.
