Based on my experience, This is honestly just a glitch on the site. There has been very little demand at least in our stores for the new galaxies. Most people are ordering the S7 and have no interest in the edge.
I wouldn't worry, you'll get them on time. Verizon is always good on delivery on time, just not early.
Once again, when I go in tomorrow I'll clarify everything for you guys.
A customer service rep just told me it automatically shifts your order to the bottom of the list if you have checked the "status" page more than 20 times in 24 hours.

Well I just checked and it's now on the 31at as well. I don't care about that, but if I don't get my S2 I'll be incredibly angry.
It's definitely only an online deal. If you order in store, You get $100 or Free VR headset.Are you able to get clarification on the free Gear S2 as well? Would ordering in the store still qualify or just ordering online?
