Read your post, turned on bluetooth on the phone and both 2.4 and 5Gz are still humming along the same. Signal strength is still excellent on both (my router is in the basement) and I can see no speed difference with internet access.

I'm assuming mine drops intermittently as well, as I will get new notifications that I'm connected to WiFi from time to time.

Same here. Very frustrating. Smart switch off, forced stop on blue tooth share, restarted router. Still momentarily drops signal sometimes for a couple of seconds; Sometimes I have to force it to re connect. I have a BT hub 3.
How do I change to ipv4 I can't find it in the admin pages of my router

I continue to have intermittent drops both at home on my Verizon Fios router and on my work's corporate wifi network. It's not frequent and only momentary, but it's a little annoying.

Has anyone committed to sending their device back to Samsung?

Mine is supposed to be collected tomorrow but I'm thinking again since they don't replace before they assess the device. I could be without it for a week...

Actually, my device is going back for an unrelated issue, as it wouldn't mute, so they're replacing it after they couldn't figure out in the store how to fix it either. Thought it may have been an errant setting, but putting the phone on vibrate or mute simply lowered the volume instead of completely turning it off. New phone isn't expected to ship until 3/31, although they said in the store "it may be earlier". Will be interesting to see if the new phone has wifi problems as well. Will report back if it does, but it might not be for a couple of weeks.

Thats good info if, being a regular lay person, I knew how to do it. I have a comcast router.

Decided to cancel the return. I can still do it anytime. There's no benefit in returning within 14 days (unless you want your money back) since they don't straight swap the device. Poor in my opinion, should handle RMAs like Google.

So, I'm no expert on WiFi - which is an understatement, I know nothing...

My S7e always seems to be connected to one of the weak channels from my router (nearly always Channel 11). There are two Channels which are always strong in my house (6&14) but the phone never connects to these.

Is the S7 Edge not set to automatically connect to strong WiFi signals? Is there anything I can do? Is this related to the IPV4 advice from earlier..?

Usually your router controls the channel the wifi is using.
