Android Central Question

I was using my s7 as normal when the phone froze and went to a black screen and then became unresponsive so i tried a forced reset but the phone turned off and did not do the reset and now the phone won't turn on. I have tried all the resets and boot ups that i can find on the internet to no success (not even the buttons are working). I have also tried charging it to no success (not even the charging symbol is showing up when i charge it) . Has anybody else had the same problem if so is there a way it can be fixed or is my phone non-repairable.

Welcome to Android Central! Plug it into a wall outlet and let it charge undisturbed for at least 6 hours. Then press and hold Power for 20 seconds. Does anything happen?

Have you also tried a different charging cable/plug?

Just in case the phone is frozen on a blank screen, press and hold Power and Vol Down together for about 20 seconds, then wait a few seconds, and then press and hold Power for 20 seconds again.

If it still doesn't work, then either the battery or the motherboard has failed. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop (or contact Samsung).
