S8 not vibrating for stock messages and Facebook Messenger

[Android Central Question]

So I have my S8+ for 4 months now and it is just perfect. The problem is it stopped vibrating when I get new messages, both on FB Messenger and stock messaging app( vibrations work perfectly for everything else) . I tried booting the phone in safe mode and the vibration for stock messages is working just fine, but exiting safe mode again and it stops working again. I don't know what to do as I definitely don't want to factory reset the device.
