S8 or S8+??

I don't think the S8+ is going to be any bigger than my iPhone 7 Plus so I'll be going with the S8+. I want the bigger screen and bigger battery.

I really like the size of the S8. With a screen that's bigger than the Note 7 at the size of (approx) S7 edge it would be perfect for me. The battery is the only issue. I don't think all the optimizations will help all that much. But who knows.

I switched over to an iPhone 7+ after being forced to return my Note 7. The S8+ should be about the same size physically as the iP7+ but I'm actually leaning towards the regular S8 (and then maybe buying the Note 8 later).

I think I've always wanted a bigger screen but a smaller phone, and if the S8 is smaller than the Note 7 but has roughly the same screen size, that might be damn perfect. I'll have to wait and see if the S8+ has any "extra" features but for now that's what I'm thinking.

I'm from Sweden. Last year retailers started taking pre orders within an hour after the S7 event in Barcelona. Stores almost compete to get their product page up as quickly as possible.

Yea, I love in the US and did the same for the note7 but this time will be different. At least that's what I'm reading.

Exactly. But for me, I prefer a smaller phone, one we can hold comfortably with one hand.

I think the preordering also depends on the carrier. T-Mobile (mine) doesn't work with the retailers so I'd need to preorder directly with them

That's one thing I don't like about TMO. One time Best Buy offered a wireless charger with a pre-order while TMO offered free year of Netflix. I got the Netflix but would have like the charger.
