S8 texts

[James Nightmare]

I've had my S8 (Sprint) for about 4 months now and for some reason texts are intermittent. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I dont. Sometimes the people I'm sending them to get them, sometimes they don't. I've used the Samsung+ chat help and all they suggested was a factory reset. Which I've done. I don't know where to go from here.

Wow, that is a problem.
My friend who has a TMO version reported the same thing. This apparently started in the last couple of months.

South Jersey (Metro Philly)
OS 7.0 (no updates from Samsung yet)
Google Messenger app
it's really frustrating!
I just switched to the Samsung messaging app, idk if that'll work ornot

I had that problem also, however, if you add your messaging app into the un-monitored apps section under battery in device maintenance, then it won't get put to sleep. I have not had a problem since doing this.
