S8+ VS 4:3 Tab S3, actual screen realestate for netflix?

Im not good at math haha.

I was considering the Tab S3, then I realised its 4:3 and only 2048x1536 9.7". The S8 plus or note is 6.2~ at 1440p+

So what is the actual diagnol screen size of 16:9 on a 9.7" 4:3 screen (forgetting 18.5:9 for now).

24.5cm vs 16~cm diagonal screen size.

I look at the s3 and I cant help but think, is the s8 plus really much smaller in 16:9 and its certainly a much higher ppi.

this is the best i could come up with one stated diagonals at 16:9

Tab s3 23.7x13.3 S8+ 14.8 8.3cm

ugggh now to try and compare those at PPI

so at a loss of 3.7cm for the height of the S3, 1536 becomes 1200. No I stuffed up I get 244PPI.

I think i got my screen dimensions wrong, thats the S3 dimensions I was using. ugggh
