S9 data transfer stuck on 99%, been there for hours

Trying the transfer data from iphone to galaxy s9 using the cable and smart switch. Transfer gets stuck at 99% and wont move for hours. Tried multiple times with no luck. Any ideas?

Kill it on both ends (the S9 and the iPhone). Evidently one didn't send the "finished" notice or the other one missed it. (Sounds like 1980 computer communications.)

I think there's a damaged corrupted data that makes the process stop.
