Android Central Question

So I got a S9 on Friday just gone (UK)

I'm having a huge headache with the WI-FI. My S7 worked flawlessly.
However my S9 feels like its attempting to connect to dial up.

The Wi-Fi is literally 10 feet from me, same room, and the thing keeps jumping to the ! symbol for Wi-Fi. It'll just hang and hang and hang then it'll come back alive. Sometimes it can take upto 2 minutes.

Also loading pages, some webpages (this is all without me refreshing) It will sit and load, then go to the dinosaur "could not connect" error, then it'll swap to the DNS probe failed page, then finally load the page. All within the same button press.

Anyone else having this issue? Its driving me up the wall!

I've tried so many, I've power cycled my router, I've cleared network settings, I've cleared the partition in recovery mode. I've even factory reset the device. Same issue.

I have only tested it on my home Wi-Fi as its the only one I can access with confidence of the connection. However there is S6/2x S7's plus tablets and a few other things connected which have never faced a single issue.
