For the record...the iPhone will never have a 4.3" screen....at least for the next few iterations. They'll bump it up to 4" and release propaganda about how 4" is the optimal screen size for a cellular device and how it "changes everything."

This is true. All Apple bashing aside, that company likes to tell you what you need and even what you really want.

Watched it Sunday night because my wife had never seen it. She fell asleep. I was sad. :'(

I love the fact that the android platform is customizable and more open but i picked up an i4s yesterday and if the i5 has 4.3 inch screen and 4g i might consider the switch. Also the battery life is amazing on apple devices.

For now with no 4g and a tiny screen i wait for my nexus.

But coming from the Nexus S, GS2 and now going to Galaxy Nexus. Those 3 phones can't hold a candle to what my iPhone battery did. The fact at I had to buy extra batteries for these phones is the epic fail. it's 2011, the batteries should last longer.

That's like comparing a sedan (iPhone) with an SUV (Samsung phones) and complaining about the need for more gas with SUVs.

For the most part, batteries have a fixed capacity. You cannot have a similar form-factor, higher battery drain, AND longer battery life. Blame physics, not engineers.

I say make the phone thicker so that we can go two full days of heavy usage. THAT will address user experience issues. While people like thin phones, Apple has proven that people love longer battery life.
