Samsung a5 2017 battery life sucks?

Hi.

Yesterday I bought the Samsung A5 2017, because apparently, it has GREAT battery life. People say they can use the phone 1,5 days without charging it. It had a 3000MAH battery.

However, my phone goes from the charger at 06:30 with 100% juice. at 8:30, I was already at 83% with minimal use. Just some facebook,whatsapp or browsing. Right now its 16:30 and I got 31% battery life. Do I got a bad device? I'm not even using the phone that much.

Yup stayed with nougat and those eye sore settings on Oreo. Is it on Oreo or nougat I bet Oreo I'm running A3 and great till bed time. I have 60% at bed using all day

My wife bought one fairly recently and it ate its own battery for breakfast for a couple of days during set up, it settled down once it had been configured to her liking and now she's getting 1.5-2 days of medium use per charge. Same with my A8.
